Bine-ai venit, 2014 ! Sper ca Noul An să ne aducă tuturor pace şi înţelegere, iubire şi înţelepciune,  şi multă sănătate !

De Crăciun, Gabriela Iancu (aka Wonder Woman) ne-a surprins din nou cu talentul şi creativitatea ei, scoţând cel de-al cincilea număr al revistei What Liberty Ate. Fiecare număr e din ce în ce mai frumos, mai profund, şi o reprezintă din ce în ce mai mult. Răsfoind această minune de revistă, veţi descoperi multe reţete de sezon, multe mâncăruri savuroase şi prăjituri festive, dar şi o doză generoasă de artă şi spiritualitate. Din nou, atenţia pentru detalii face diferenţa ! Nu am cuvinte îndeajuns pentru a vă spune cât o admir pe Gabriela şi ceea ce face. Mai jos, puteţi răsfoi toată revista. De la pagina 80 la 87 veţi găsi şi reţeta mea pentru numărul acesta, şi anume “Fructe de mare la cuptor”. Sper să vă placă !

Ingredients
  1. 3 cartofi mari
  2. 8 căţei de usturoi
  3. 2-3 cepe roşii medii
  4. 1 lămâie bio
  5. câteva linguri ulei de măsline
  6. 350 g scoici
  7. 6-8 calamari sau caracatiţe mici
  8. 16 creveţi jumbo nedecorticaţi
  9. 3 linguri vin alb
  10. sare şi piper negru proaspăt măcinat
  11. 2-3 linguri pătrunjel tocat
Instructions
  1. Preîncălziţi cuptorul la 220°C.
  2. Spălaţi cartofii, fără a-i decoji, şi tăiaţi-i în felii groase, iar fiecare felie în sferturi.
  3. Puneţi cartofii într-o tavă mare, împreună cu căţeii de usturoi, şi aceştia spălaţi dar nedecojiti.
  4. Tăiaţi cepele în sferturi, apoi lămâia, şi adăugaţi totul în tavă.
  5. Stropiţi totul cu două linguri de ulei şi puneţi tava în cuptorul încins, unde va rămâne timp de 1 oră.
  6. Între timp, curăţaţi scoicile. Puneţi-le într-un bol cu apă rece, aruncându-le pe cele deschise sau sparte.
  7. Feliaţi calamarii sau baby caracatiţele, în cazul de faţă.
  8. După o oră, scoateţi tava din cuptor şi adăugaţi fructele de mare.
  9. Stropiţi totul cu alte 2 linguri de ulei şi cu vin, apoi condimentaţi cu sare şi piper , după gust, şi puneţi tava înapoi în cuptor pentru încă 15 minute.
  10. Presăraţi o mână bună de pătrunjel tocat.
Notes
  1. Aruncaţi scoicile care nu s-au deschis.

Ingredients
  1. 3 large potatoes
  2. 8 cloves garlic, unpeeled
  3. 2-3 medium red onions
  4. 1 lemon, unwaxed
  5. 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  6. 350 g small clams in their shells
  7. 6-8 baby squid or baby octopus
  8. 16 jumbo shrimp with heads-on
  9. 3 tablespoons white wine
  10. salt and freshly ground black pepper
  11. 2-3 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 220 ° C (425 F).
  2. Wash and cut the potatoes, without peeling, and cut them into thick slices and each slice into quarters.
  3. Put them into a large roasting pan with the unpeeled garlic cloves.
  4. Cut onions into quarters, then lemon, and add it into the pan.
  5. Quarter the onions and the lemon, and add them to the pan with the potatoes and garlic.
  6. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of oil and roast for 1 hour.
  7. Meanwhile, soak the clams in a bowl of water. If any are smashed or don't close after they've soaked, throw them away.
  8. Slice the squid into rings.
  9. After an hour, remove the pan from the oven and add the seafood.
  10. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil and the wine, season with salt and pepper to taste, and place the pan back in the oven for another 15 minutes.
  11. Sprinkle a good handful of chopped parsley.
Notes
  1. Discard any clams that have not opened.
